We approach each project as unique, combining essential, time-tested steps with a tailored strategy. We begin by thoroughly evaluating your site’s existing conditions and future plans, analyzing zoning constraints, and understanding specific parameters. This includes assessing ingress and egress, spatial qualities, structures, grading, drainage, soils, solar orientation, views, and adjacent land uses or elements. Following this initial assessment, we collaborate with you to define a clear scope, outlining programmatic elements and goals.

Conceptual Design & Planning

Our creative process truly accelerates once we have a comprehensive understanding established during the discovery phase. We begin this exciting step by envisioning and compiling imagery, then iterating through extensive sketching exercises to develop preliminary concepts and uncover unique possibilities.
Whether hand-drawn or high-tech, we utilize various tools to clearly communicate our ideas. This includes diagrams, sketches, annotated photos, rendered plans, 3D perspectives, animations, and technical detail drawings, all used to convey designs and build consensus. Revisions are an integral part of our process, ensuring all elements are refined and personalized to meet your aesthetic preferences.
Refinement & Approvals

Upon design approval, we will proceed with further refinement, addressing any environmental, budgetary, or unexpected concerns that may arise. Your input and participation are critical during this stage of the design process.
Implement & Construction
Coordination with contractors, adherence to timelines, quality checks.
Your designer and crews work closely and intently to familiarize themselves with every detail of your landscape design. When basic parameters are recognized, our master trained craftsmen begin the build process. Demolition and site clearing come first, proper irrigation next. Hardscape and structures add dimension and texture to the space. Plantings soften the project and a fresh layer of sod and mulch complete the entire process.
Our project manager, Neil Robinson, leads our team of experienced artisans and craftsmen. With over three decades in the industry, Neil ensures your project receives dedicated attention and that our team adheres to the highest standards of quality. His responsibilities include maintaining project timelines and overseeing quality control.
Final Review & Handover
Walkthrough, final approvals, lessons learned.
Creating your ideal outdoor living space is what we enjoy most. Just like every step leading up to the installation, final walkthroughs require careful attention and time. Your complete satisfaction is our only priority. Clarity of vision, client involvement, and consistent communication help us to mitigate unintended issues and risks. Our aim is that after the final walkthrough, you’ll want to invite us to your first cookout.
